I began writing and illustrating a children’s book about an otter for one of my classes – biology! It originally was to be a short story of sorts incorporating the science around otter life, her environment etc.
I completed several watercolor picture drafts depicting a day in the life … having the otter demonstrate his routine, food preferences, environment etc. All of the requirements for the project were complete but having a finished book was not one of them.
I really enjoyed this type of work and hopefully I will get to work more on this project or another children’s book soon.
