I named the piece entered at the Juried Art Show in Monroe NJ ‘Perspective’ – it is my point of view and creation using wood to tackle a lesson on alternative quilts.
This particular annual juried show is sponsored by the Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission and hosted at the Monroe Public Library. It is a worthy cause and an honor to have work selected.
Apparently, “Perspective” was too heavy to hang on the wall with the hooks they had and there was some discussion as to if it could be entered.
The show organizers eventually put the work on a wooden pillar. An excellent solution to their display challenge.
