A popular local sandwich shop, Hoagie Haven, in Princeton, NJ had a logo design contest – and I entered!
After multiple concept sketches, some with sauce bottles (they are proud of their unique sauce), I chose one that included their name in a symbol, surrounded with their slogan. Inevitably, their sauces go on sandwiches, one reason this logo made the final cut.
The business wanted something that could work on apparel and optimized for other merchandise. So, the slogan on my design could be removed, and the sandwich symbol I created (with their name) can be used for smaller advertising, such as stickers.
Their current logo does not include a website or telephone number – I can easily incorporate those upon request so they were intentionally left out for now.
I recently found out their plans for new promotional merch are on hold (COVID19, I suspect). It would be great if they choose my design!
