This short video was produced as part of an ACS safety initiative in New Jersey. It is a somewhat lighthearted animation outlining a very serious resource: the Globally Harmonized System for Classifying Hazardous Chemicals. This final production is my contribution to Princeton High School’s (Trenton, NJ) participation in this American Chemical Society safety initiative.
Students, mentors and teachers came together to view videos from the first ever Trenton ACS Chemical Safety Video Contest at The College of New Jersey.
Elaina Phillips and her teacher, Shefali Mehta of Princeton High School attended.
Mrs. Mehta, my chemistry teacher, encouraged her students to enter the ACS Contest. There were several topics to choose from, Elaina chose safety labels (Global) and created an animation. Several factors were taken into consideration and some interesting effects and humor were added. Her video is helpful and she would like for others to use it.
This video debuted in 02/2019 and was created using Animation Creator.
