Insects and other creatures often get my attention. Their structure, movement, sound, color, mannerisms are too interesting to ignore. I wanted to have butterflies in my yard growing up so we planted 2 species of milkweed.
So, I think I found a Spotted Lanternfly. Rutgers has this interesting page about how NJ counties are quarantined. You can search for more information but this pest control company has some great pictures on what will do these destructive insects in. I wonder if humans eat them. I should have asked when at my Entomophagy Club meeting.
Worms on the driveway or walk after a rain? I try to get them into soil or under plant leaves.
